An Ode to Strengths

  Recently the Brilliant Ink team began a new journey – one that is very true to who we are as a company. We decided to focus on our strengths.   In a world that’s often fascinated with inadequacies, it’s refreshing to step back, look at our unique abilities, and figure out how to use them to make our team even stronger.     Using StrengthsFinder 2.0, the new version of the classic Gallup book, we uncovered what makes us tick. We each explored our own strengths, digging into key elements at a personal and professional level.   Does the term millennial make your blood boil? There’s a theme for that. Like to be the life of the party? Yep, another theme. Can you roll with the punches and quickly adapt? Theme. Theme. Theme.   After we looked inward, we shared our strengths with each other, paying special attention to anything unique we could use to shape future collaborations.     It may not have been trust-falls and rope courses, but looking at our strengths and figuring out how to amplify them continues to be one of the best team building experiences we’ve had.
